Hey everyone! How’s your Wednesday going? As usual it’s been pretty busy around here! I wanted to take a moment between creating my Fabulous Friday post and getting swap cards done and in the mail to share a peek at one of the new stamp sets from the 2018/2019 Annual Catalog along with some of that gorgeous Garden Impressions DSP. I love the bright and cheery feel that the paper gives you and thought it went perfectly with this stamp set. Here are the measurements of my card:

  • Card base in Pacific Point cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Mango Melody cardstock cut at 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • Basic Black cardstock cut at 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ (2 of these)
  • Whisper White cut at 3″ x 3″
  • Garden Impressions DSP cut at 3″ x 3″

I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite things about this new catalog is the color revamp that brought out so many beautiful colors. Mango Melody is fast becoming a favorite. It is just such a happy color! After I adhered that to the card base, I stamped the flower image in Mango Melody on the Whisper White square, then stamped the sentiment over it with Memento Black ink. I really like two-step stamping for sentiments, it just makes it not only pop, but makes it more a one-of-a-kind type of card. I added the butterfly in Black Memento too. I then adhered it to the black square, the DSP to the other black square and then both to the card front at different angles. I tied a double bow in Basic Black Baker’s Twine, added it with a Mini Glue Dot, sprinkled on some rhinestones and called it done. I’m really becoming a fan of quick and easy!

If you would like to order any of these items, just head over to my online store. When you use Hostess Code X6VBJFJ4, I’ll send you a pack of handmade cards. I thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great afternoon!
