Isn’t that a cute card? I thought the sketch was perfect for the Choose Happy stamp set. I purchased it last year when it first came out and never used it.
This stamp set is just a fun set. Those cute little images just make me smile. After I chose my stamp set, I went through my stash for the perfect DSP. I found a pack of the Cute as Can Bee DSP. I chose the stripe piece and then my cardstocks. I went with a Petunia Pop card base and a piece of Bubble Bath. I cut my layers to the measurements in the sketch. Don’t you just love sketches??? They help you save so much time on cutting! I then stamped my images on the white squares in Memento ink. I colored them with Petunia Pop, Bubble Bath, Shy Shamrock, Daffodil Delight and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends, our version of alcohol markers. I then stamped my sentiment in Petunia Pop ink on the Bubble Bath layer and then attached it all together with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. I decided that the bumble bee’s wings needed some Wink of Stella for the perfect shimmer. I had the new Holographic Resin Dots sitting on my desk, so I sprinkled them on for bling.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiments in Petunia Pop ink. I also stamped and colored the bumble bee on the lower corner to go with the sentiment.
And don’t forget to decorate your envelope. I used the rest of the strip of DSP to decorate the flap. I just love those stripes!!
