Hello and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a good start. Have you seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? I am not a fan of slimline cards, so I adjusted my measurements to create and A2 size card. I decided to use the Cheers & Sips bundle and that adorable Celebratory Sips DSP. Our Card Club will be using this bundle this weekend and I just know they’re going to love playing with it too.

Here are the measurements of my card:

  • Card base in Berry Burst cardstock – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Celebratory Sips DSP – 5 @ 1″ x 4″
  • Basic White cardstock – 3 3/4″ x 5″ for inside

After I trimmed all of the DSP strips, I decided to die cut and fussy cut the glasses and lemon for my focal point. I attachd the strips to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I chose the two glasses from the DSP. The tall one, which I know is iced tea and my favorite, I was able to die cut, along with the lemon. The short one that has an orange as part of the pattern, I fussy cut the short glass with my snips. The glasses are too big for a 2″ circle so I used the 2 3/8″ circle punch on a scrap of Basic White. I inked the edge of the circle with Berry Burst ink and added it to the card with dimensionals. I added the glasses with more dimensionals and added Wink of Stella to them to give them that frosty look. I then trimmed a 1″ scrap of Basic White, stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst, flagged the right side and lightly sponged the edges with more Berry Burst ink. Next I added it with dimensionals, tucking under the circle the left side of the strip. And to ad some more bling, I sprinkled on some of the gorgeous Holographic Dots.

For the inside, I attached another fussy cut glass with a cute umbrella and attached it with Seal and stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst ink.

And I chose to decorate my envelope with more of that cute DSP on the flap.

Isn’t that a fun card? I just love all the drinks and that you can stamp and die cut the paper. There are so many fun images you can die cut! Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s card and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can copy the card or the sketch exactly or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to make it your way with your style! We would love to have you join us!
