Hey everyone! Today’s the day! The new January – June 2020 Mini Catalog is live and it’s also the first day of Sale-a-bration!!!! Woo hoo!! So let’s take a look at today’s project.
Here are the measurements:
- Card base in Blackberry Bliss cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Peaceful Poppies DSP cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Old Olive cardstock cut at 3″ x 4″
- Whisper White cardstock cut at 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″, 3/4″ x 2 3/4″, and 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ for the inside
I started by choosing one of those gorgeous pieces of DSP and then grabbed a card base from my stash. I didn’t have any ribbon to match, so I colored mine with my Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Blends, our alcohol markers. I added that to the piece of DSP and then glued it all to the card base. I stamped the flower in Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with the Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I glued that to my Old Olive cardstock and then added it to the card with dimensionals. I cut a strip for the sentiment from the Thanks for the Laughs stamp set and stamped it Tuxedo Black ink and then glued it over the flowers. I added some of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones for bling. I love how those go with just about everything!
I stamped the sentiment, also from the Thanks for the Laughs stamp set and the leaf from the Painted Poppies set and colored it with the Old Olive Blends.
