Hey everyone! Happy Thursday! I hope your week has been going well. Were you able to catch my Facebook Live this morning? We actually cased page 35 of the new Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalog! If you missed the live, you can catch the replay here and I would love it if you liked and shared the video.
Here are the measurements for my card:
- Card base in Thick Whisper White cardstock cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
- Whisper White cardstock 2 cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Green Foil cut at 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
For those that don’t know, I am blogger for the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group, so I thought it would be fun to a card out of the new catalog to show you the new Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I love the card in the catalog and since I was going to use the new Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder, the Green Foil was the perfect choice! I cut all of my layers and then embossed the Whisper White first and then the strip of the Green Foil. I glued the layers together with the Stampin’ Seal adhesive and then both to the card front. Next I stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce ink and cut it out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Die set. I added it to the card front with dimensionals. And since I love my bling, I chose the Holiday Rhinestones. You could definitely use the Shaded Spruce ones, but I wanted to tie in the traditional Christmas colors and went with the Cherry Cobbler ones.
For the inside, I cut another layer of Whisper White cardstock to stamp on. You definitely could stamp on the inside of the card base, but I like having the extra layer (can make it less messy when you get a little too inky). I stamped my sentiment, also in Shaded Spruce and then I took the sentiment stamp that has sprig on it, masked all the words and then inked just the sprig. I stamped it underneath the sentiment, stamping off first.
So what do you think? Isn’t it fun to case our catalogs? There are so many beautiful projects in all of our catalogs that you could case any one of them and you would never be disappointed! Now, how about that new machine? It’s pretty awesome and the fact that you can fold it up for a much smaller footprint for storage is huge! It’s going to be available September 1st, but…you could order now by adding it to a Starter Kit order! That’s right, you would get to choose the machine and $5.00 more in product and only pay $99.00 plus tax and FREE shipping! Then all of your future purchases for at least the next 4 months will be with your new discount. One of those next purchases could be the embossing folder I used today. And when the new Mini Stampin’ Cut & Embossing Machine comes out, you can get that with your discount too! Now don’t worry about selling or holding classes, unless you’re looking to start your own business, you can just be a Happy Shopper! Our team, Sissy’s Dazzling Divas, would love to have you hang out with us! If this is something you’ve thought about and still have some questions, just reach out and we’ll chat.
If you would like a list of products used today, just click on any of the photos and it will take you right to my online store. All you need to do is add what you need to your cart. When you shop and use Host Code DXTZ3T2A and you order $40.00 or more, I’ll send you a new embellishment from the Mini Catalog. Everyone loves happy mail!! Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great Thursday!
Is the mini machine a smaller version of the Big Shot?
I am a former demonstrator and thinking of becoming one again.
It’s a mini version of the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine that I used in the video for this blog post. It looks just like this one. Congrats on thinking of coming back to SU! You can actually order the big machine right now as part of your Starter Kit order along with a pack of rhinestones or other $5.00 item and only pay $99.00 plus tax! Let me know if you have any questions!
How can I buy the evergreen embossing folder?
If you click on the picture of the embossing folder at the bottom of this blog post, it will take you to my online store. If that doesn’t work for you, just go to http://www.scrapsbysissy.stampinup.net Thank you for the interest!
