Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend and even thought it’s Tuesday, I know it’s going to feel like Monday. If this is your first time stopping by my little blog, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Are you ready to see what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week? Here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? According to the sketch measurements, this week’s card is a note card. Well, I decided to change mine into a standard A2 sized card, plus I made a few other changes.

When I started this card I knew I wanted to use this sheet of DSP from the Florals in Bloom DSP pack, but somehow along the way, it didn’t turn out what I had in mind. That never happens, right? 😉 I did follow the measurments, very loosely though. I used a Bubble Bath card base that measures 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. The DSP worked weel, but to make it pop I added it to a Blackberry Bliss mat. The mat measures 5″ x 3 1/2″ and the DSP measures 4 7/8″ x 3 3/8″ and are attached with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. I don’t have the 1 7/8″ I wanted to use one of the flower die cuts for my circle layer, but it just didn’t look right and covered up too much of the DSP, so I punched a portion of the paper with my 2″ circle punch and added it to a 2 1/8″ die cut circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I attached it to the card front with dimensionals. Next I took a 1/2″ strip of Basic White from my stash and stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Blooms stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink. I flagged the end and added it with dimensionals, making sure to tuck one end under the circle. I pulled out my Natural Tones Lilnene Thread pack and used the Garden Green twine to create my bow and added it with a mini glue dot. For my bling, I sprinkled on some of the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems in Blackberry Bliss. I absolutely love how it eventually turned out!

For the inside I stamped my sentiment, also from the Sweet Blooms stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a 5″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Basic White. I attached it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. That die cut I made for the front? I added it to the inside and thought it looked really cute! I know, it makes a really big statement! lol

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I added some more of that gorgeous DSP to the flap.
