Happy CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my blog, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? The sketch shows it to be a note card, but I created a regular A2 size card with a couple of extra layers. This week I decided to use the July Paper Pumpkin Kit and the coordinating dies.

I started with a Poppy Parade card base cut at 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. I embossed a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Garden Green cardstock with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. I thought it looked a little dark against the card base, so I added it to a 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Basic White and then attached it to the card base with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. I created the strawberries and blossoms with the coordinating dies. These dies coordinate with the July, August and September kits and not only create strawberries for this kit, but will also creat acorns for the September kit. I then took one of the card bases from the kit and trimmed the three rectangles to the 1 1/2″ x 2″ measurements. I assembled the strawberries with Multipurpose Glue and attached them to the rectangles with dimensionals. I then added the rectangles to the card front with Seal. I thought they looked a little plain, so I added the blossoms, that I added a touch of Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends to the centers, with Mini Glue Dots. Next I stamped the sentiment from the kit in Memento ink on a 1/2″ strip of Basic White. I added some Seal on the back and attached a strip of the Iridescent Striped Ribbon and then attached it all to the card with dimensionals. I then sprinkled on some of the Opal Rounds Assortment in yellow on the blossoms for my bling.

For the inside, I stamped my sentiment in Memento ink on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White, added a 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ strip of kit card base and then attached it to the inside of the card with Seal. I added two more of the blossoms with Mini Glue Dots.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped another sentiment and a blossom in Memento on the flap.

What do you think? I absoluetly love the July Paper Pumpkin kit! What’s not to love with those strawberries?!? Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this weeks sample or sketch and then share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group.  The fun part of casing is you get to create your take you way with your style.
