Hello and welcome to my take on this week’s CASE-ing Tuesday Challenge! Isn’t that a cute sweet and simple card? I changed mine up just a little.
I decided to use the Floral & Gingham Vellum Specialty DSP along with the Storybook Life stamp set. The stamp set is actually the scrapbooking stamp set that coordinates with the Storybook Life Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. I started with a Thick Basic White card base and added a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of the vellum. The nice thing about Stampin’ Seal Adhesive is you can’t see it through the vellum! I then trimmed a scrap of Pool Party to the 2 3/8″ x 2 7/8″ and a scrap a piece of Basic White and another piece of the vellum to 2 1/2″ x 3″. I attached the vellum to the white and then both to the card front with Seal. Next I created a sentiment strip for the large sentiment, which measures 3/4″ x 4″. I stamped my sentiment in Garden Green ink and then attached it to a 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ strip of Lemon Lolly cardstock. I attached both to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I sprinkled on a few of the Party Dots for my bling, which is a nice subtle bling.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Sentimental Wishes stamp set from the Sept-Dec Mini Catalog in Garden Green ink. I added another 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ strip of the vellum at the bottom.
And I used another piece of the vellum to decorate the envelope flap.
Isn’t that vellum pretty? And with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive you can use it on any project! Now it’s your turn.
