Hello and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my neck of the woods, please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you been to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? As you can see, I changed my take just a little.

I followed the measurements from the sketch except that I added a piece of that pretty DSP, the Friends of the Ocean, that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″. The lobster is die cut from another sheet of the DSP and I also die cut the coral in a scrap of Summer Splash cardstock. I started with a Berry Burst card base and added my DSP layer with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. Next I took a scrap of Basic White and trimmed the layers. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom strip and then attached the 3 strips to the card with Seal. Next I added the coral with a little bit of Multipurpose Liquid Glue just at the bottome of the coral so that when I added the lobster I could adjust it to look as if it was swimming through the coral. I added the die cut lobster with dimensionals over the coral – it turn out like it looked in my head, but that’s okay. I thought the top panel looked a little blank, so I stamped some of the bubbles in Summer Splash ink. And of course I had to add some of those gorgeous dots from the suite, the Sunny Day Iridescent Dots. Aren’t they beautiful? The entire suite is just so happy!!

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst ink. I then stamped the envelope with the coral image in Summer Splash ink and then immediately on the inside layer to get the second generation ink. That layer is 3 3/4″ x 5″ and is attached with Seal.

I think I could have added a stamped crab too. Maybe I’ll add that later. 😉

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. This is such a fun sketch and perfect for a sweet & simple card. We would love it if you joined us!!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope I was able to inspire you. If you’d like to add any of the product I used today to your stash, I would love it if you shopped with me. Just head over to my online store here. Have a great rest of your week!
