Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. Isn’t that a pretty card? I love that printed vellum! I decided to use some of the new Botanical Textures DSP from the Online Exclusives that I actually used on my Facebook Live last week. I wanted to create a black & white card with a pop of color, and I think I achieved it.
I started with a Thick Basic White card base and trimmed my DSP to the measurements on the sketch and added them to the card with Stampin’ Seal. My two strips are the same sheet of DSP, showing both patterns. I really LOVE this pack of paper!!! I then pulled out a couple of my ephemera packs and found the flower die cut in the Fully Flowering Ephemera pack and the butterfly in the Something From Everything Ephemera pack. I chose to color the die cut with Shy Shamrock, Bubble Bath and the Light Berry Burst Stampin’ Blends and added it to the card with dimensionals. I kept the butterfly in the black & white so that the flowers really popped. I decided to use the Wonderful Thoughts Bundle for my sentiment and stamped it in VersaMark ink on Basic Black cardstock to heat emboss white embossing powder. I then die cut the word with the coordinating die and added it with two little snips of dimensionals over the flowers. I then added sprinkled on some of the white and pink sequins from the Adhesive-Backed Trio Sequins pack.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Memento ink and added another butterfly from the Something From Everything pack.
And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! That DSP was perfect to tie it all together.
