Hello and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I am so glad you stopped by today and hope your week is going well. Isn’t that a beautiful card? Since it’s so close to Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d pull out the Hearts of Elegance Bundle again for my take this week.
I love that we have sketches to go along with the sample photos. The sketches help if you’re new to the craft or for those that are seasoned card makers, can help when we just don’t have those creative juices flowing. I started with a Thick Basic white card base and attached my large DSP layer with Stampin’ Seal adhesive. Next I trimmed a scrap of Bubble Bath cardstock and another strip of the DSP (the reverse of the large layer) and attached them both to the card with Seal. I die cut the stitched heart in a scrap of the Brushed Gold and added it to the card with dimensionals. I also trimmed the little strip from the same scrap and attached it with Seal. I die cut the white heart, stamped the sentiment in Melon Mambo ink and added it to the card with dimensionals. I added a bow in the coordinating Gold Twisted Thread and a couple of the Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins for bling.
For the inside, I added the rest of the DSP strip at the bottom and stamped my sentiment in Melon Mambo.
And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I added another scrap strip across the flap.
