Good morning and Happy CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my little blog, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. So, have you had a chance to visit the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a pretty card? That card was created with the beautiful Heart Shaped Bundle that is available for FREE with a qualifying order. As you can see, I changed mine up quite a bit. I decided to use pieces and the stamp set from the December Paper Pumpkin kit. I hadn’t had a chance to even open it before this week. What a gorgeous kit!! Let’s look at my card.

This kit is absolutely gorgeous! I started by choosing the fern die cut from the kit and then my card base in Mossy Meadow. I loosely followed the measurements from the sketch and for my first layer, I went with a scrap of Basic White trimmed to the measurements and embossed it with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. I attached the layer with Stampin’ Seal. I trimmed a piece of the Timeless Plaid DSP to use with a Boho Blue banner, but I just didn’t like the banner I had created. So, I added decided to cut my layer to 4 1/4″ x 2″ layer. Doesn’t that longer layer really bring out the blue in the plaid DSP? I attached it with Seal and then added my plaid layer. I thought my die cut looked better added to a landscape card, so I turned my card and attached my die cut with dimensionals. I stamped my sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink all the way to the left so that I could add a vellum fern that was die cut of with the fern die from the Merry Tags & More Dies. I love that Paper Pumpkin now has quarterly die sets to go with the monthly kits! I added my label with a dimensional on the left side and Seal to attach it to the large fern die cut. The vellum die cut is attached with a Mini Glue Dot. I added a bow in the Night of Navy Linen Thread from the Natural Tones Linen Thread pack. And to top it off, I sprinkled on some of the 23/25 In Color Opaque Sparkle Dots for bling.

For the inside, I trimmed another scrap of Basic White to 5″ x 3 3/4″, stamped the sentiment and added a 5″ x 3/4″ piece of the DSP. I just love the font that was used in this stamp set!!!

For my envelope, I decided to show off the envelope from the kit. They are in Mossy Meadow with scalloped edge stickers to be able to address them. Isn’t it beautiful?

So what do you think? I really love my card!! Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create it in your style. We would love to see your creation!
