Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday and Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great Christmas and are ready to get inky again – I know I am! Have you seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? I decided to create a really quick and easy card for my first day back in the studio, so I pulled out the Fully flowering and Saying Something Ephemera packs.

The best part of my card is that I used scraps to create it! I started by choosing my die cut focal point and then went into my scraps. I found a Bubble Bath card base and a scrap of Old Olive that I trimmed to the measurements and embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. I attached that layer to the card front with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive and then added the die cut with dimensionals. I chose my sentiment layer and added it with more dimensionals. I wanted to pull out the black from the flower centers, so I added a black twine bow and some of the black Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems.

For the inside, I added a 5″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Basic White, also a scrap, with Seal. I added another flower die cut and a sentiment layer, both with Seal.

And for the envelope, I added a little die cut with a little bit of liquid glue. Remember, no naked envelopes!!

Now it’s your turn – create your take on this week’s cased card and sher it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it exactly like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create it your way with your style.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you. If there’s anything I used today that just need to add to your stash, head over to my online store here to shop. Have a great rest of your week!
