Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a good start. If this is your first time visiting my little part of the world, please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you had a chance to visit the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? I really wanted to play with the Seasons of Green & Gold Specialty DSP, so I pulled out the Peaceful Season stamp set and the Golden Greenery Bundle to coordinate everything.

I did follow the measurements from the sketch for my card, which made things really easy. I chose a Mossy Meadow card base. I trimmed a piece of the DSP for my 3″ x 5 1/2″ layer and attached it with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. I trimmed a scrap of Basic White for my three rectangles to the 1 5/8″ x 2 1/2″ for each and attached them with Seal. I then die cut the pine branch and the little heart shape leaves from the DSP and fussy cut the bells, also in the sheet of DSP. I added them to the rectangles with dimensionals and added two bows in the Gold Twisted Thread with Mini Glue Dots. Next I trimmed a scrap strip of Basic White to 3/4″ wide and stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Season stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink. I flagged the ends and added it with dimensionals. Lastly, I added three of the Iridescent Foil Gems for bling. They go perfectly for a subtle hint of bling!

For the inside, I stamped a branch from the Golden Greenery stamp set in Mossy Meadow, stamping off first, and then the sentiment from the Peaceful Season stamp set, also in Mossy Meadow ink.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I decorated the envelope with the same DSP as the long layer on the front of the card. I just love how it ties the whole project together!

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create your card your way with your style. It’s so fun to see all the different takes on the projects! I really hope you join us so we can see your creations!
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great week and get a chance to do something just for you – like gettin’ inky! Have a great rest of your week!
