Happy CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my neck of the world, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you had a chance to visit the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this afternoon to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that an adorable card??? It was very hard not to copy that exactly, but I wanted to create another Christmas card. I decided to dust off the Merriest Trees stamp and coordinating die set and pair it with the new Reindeer Days DSP.

I will say, if I ever case this design again, I will definitely use a solid paper to die cut all of the postage stamps. 😉 I decided to throw in the new Festive Glimmer Specialty Paper in the Real Red and Garden Green colors. That glimmer paper is stun-ning!!! It comes in 3 colors, two of each color in Real Red, Garden Green and Granny Apple Green. After I die cut my shapes, I added them to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. Next I stamped my presents and bows from the stamp set in Real Red and Granny Apple Green and attached them to the foil with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then die cut the tree in Basic White and the star in Gold Foil. I stamped the sentiment in Garden Green ink and attached both die cuts to the card front with dimensionals. Then I sprinkled on some of those adorable Real Red & White Peppermint Embellishments. They are soooo cute!!

For the inside, I trimmed a piece of the DSP to 4 1/4″ x 1″ and attached it to the bottom. I then stamped the sentiment in Garden Green ink.

I wanted to add more of that adorable DSP to my envelope flap, but didn’t have enough. Soooo, I stamped the small sentiment instead.

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s card and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create it your way with your style.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you today. If you would like to add any of these items to your stash, I would love it if you shopped with me. Just head over to my online store here to shop. I hope you have a great day and if you get the chance to get inky, even better!!
