Good morning and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. Isn’t that a pretty card? The sketch shows it to be a note card, but I converted it to a regular A2 sized card at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ as I prefer that size.
I just love the More Than Autumn Bundle and the A Little Latte DSP! I went with a Pecan Pie card base and added the note card sized layer of DSP for the base. The top layers of my card are in the size of the dimensions given in the sketch except for the banner, my Petal Pink layer. I didn’t like the look of the 4″ banner, so I trimmed mine to 5″, flagged the ends and then trimmed it 4 1/2″ for the final look. I attached it to my second layer of DSP and attached them both to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I stamped my latte cup in Memento ink and colored it with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. The pumpkin is stamped in Old Olive ink and colored with Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. The whip cream is stamped in Pecan Pie ink and after I die cut both, attached the whip to the cup with more Seal. I punched out a 2 3/8″ circle of Basic White and added it to the card front with dimensionals and then the added the cup with more dimensionals. I trimmed a scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock to the measurements and stamped the sentiment in Pecan Pie ink added a dimensional on the very left of the strip and Seal across the back and slipped it under the cup. By added the dimensional at the end, it secures the strip at the same height as the circle. Then I added some of the Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots for bling.
For the inside, I added a 3/4″ strip of the DSP to a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White and stamped the sentiment in Pecan Pie ink. This brings the outside of the card to the inside, although you could just stamp the sentiment and call it good.
And don’t forget to decorate your envelope – no naked envelopes!! I used some more of that gorgeous DSP. Doesn’t it tie the whole project together?
