Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a good start. If this is your first time visiting my little neck of the woods, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet to see what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a pretty card? For my card this week I decided to use the new Regal Flora Bundle.

I followed the sketch pretty closely, except my layers are a little smaller than the measurements listed. I decided to trim my Regal Winter DSP to 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ so that you can see more of the Blackberry Bliss layer. Since I didn’t have the dies that are shown in the sample, I chose the Countryside Corners Dies and chose Blackberry Bliss for the frame. The DSP and the cardstock layer are attached with Stampin’ Seal and then attached to the card front and the frame is attached with Mini Dimensionals. I stamed the flowers in Blackberry Bliss ink, stamping off twice and the larger leaves in Boho Blue, stamping off once and then die cut them with the coordinating dies. The larger sprig is die cut in Basic White with one of the dies from the Textured Florals die set. I sponged on a litle bit of Boho Blue ink so it wasn’t quite so stark againste the DSP. I attached the leaves, sprig and flowers together with some Stampin’ Seal, and then added them to the card front with dimensionals. I die cut a scrap of Boho Blue with the smallest die from the Countryside Corners set, stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink, added some Seal to the back of it and then tucked it in behind the flowers. To bring out more of the white in the DSP, I sprinkled on some Iridescent Pearls.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment and added a 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ strip of the DSP.

And that sheet of DSP is so gorgeous, I had to decorate the envelope flap with it.

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s card and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to put your spin on it!
