Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! For those that are in the US, I hope you had a great holiday weekend and your week is off to a great start. Isn’t that a cute card? As you can see, I went a little rogue this week! 🙂
I did follow all of the measurements for the card, although my die cut images are different sizes than the ones in the sketch. Since the new Sept-Dec Mini Catalog goes live tomorrow, I thought it was the perfect time to use my favorite bundle! I started with a Pecan Pie card base and added a strip of the Iconic Celebrations DSP at the base of the card front with STampin’ Seal Adhesive. I stamped the sentiments from the set in Pecan Pie ink on a piece of Basic Beige cardstock and added it to the card front. Next I stamped all three images in Memento ink so that I could color them with Stampin’ Blends. I used Crumb Cake and Pumpkin Pie for the slice of pie. The dollop of whip cream is actually snipped from the whip cream image and added to the pie with a mini glue dot. I colored the latte with Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. I used the Light Crumb Cake marker for shade some of the lines in the whip cream, but otherwise left them white. The donut is colored with the Pecan Pie maker and the icing was colored with the Light Peach Pie marker. Once they were all colored, I die cut them with the coordinating dies and added them to the card with dimensionals. For my bling, I added some of the clear ribbon dots from the Pecan Pie and Clear Ribbon Dots. They really coordinate well with the DSP strip.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment and heart in Pecan Pie ink on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic Beige and added it to the inside. Next I added a 3/4″ x 5″ strip of the DSP to coordinate with the front of the card.
And to bring it all together, I added another strip of the DSP to the envelope flap.
