Hello and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. Isn’t that a cute card? As you can see, I did change mind up just a little.
My style of crafting is clean and simple and I just couldn’t get the second label and 3/4″ circle to work with my chosen product, sooooo, I eliminated them! 😉 Besides, that’s what casing is all about, creating it with your style! I did follow the measurements for my DSP and the label, which is from the Nested Essentials Labels. I decided to go with a Moody Mauve card base, and to keep it somewhat monochromatic, I chose a sheet from the Wildly Flowering DSP pack that showcased the color well. Plus, I love the pops of Early Espresso and Misty Moonlight in the pattern. I decided to go with the Layering Leaves stamp and coordinating punch mainly because a) I haven’t used it in awhile and b) I love the font! After I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso, I added some of the splatter in Misty Moonlight, stamping off to lighten it. My two DSP layers are attached with Stampin’ Seal and I added the label with dimensionals. I punched out the two leaves in Early Espresso and Misty Moonlight and attached them to the label with Mini Glue Dots. I then punched a flower with the Petal Park Bulider Punch in Basic White. I sponged on some Moody Mauve ink and added it with a Mini Glue Dot. To bring in some more of the brown, I sprinkled on some of the Neutral Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
For the inside, I stamped my sentiment on a 5″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Basic White and added a 3/4″ x 5″ strip of the DSP.
And of course I added some more of that beautiful paper to my envelope – no naked envelopes!
