Happy CASE-ing Tuesday!! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my little blog, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you had a chance to stop by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group to see what we are casing (copy & share everything) this week? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? I decided to play with some of our new Halloween product that is part of the new Online Exclusives release. As you can see, I changed my take a little bit.

I started with a Gorgeous Grape card base and went with a piece of the Peach Pie Glimmer Specialty Paper for my 1 1/4″ strip and added a piece of black twine. I die cut the cauldron in Basic Black. I judged where I was going to place it and then stamped the bubbles in Gorgeous Grape ink. I attached the cauldron with Stampin’ Seal and then created my cat. I found a piece of retired textured Basic Gray cardstock in my scraps bin, so I stamped the cat in Memento ink and cut it out. I then colored the eyes with a white gel pen and a yellow glitte pen from my stash. I love the eery glow it gives the cat. I added the cat with dimensionals. I used the smallest stitched rectangle from the Nested Essentials Die set to die cut my sentiment label. It’s stamped in Memento ink and attached with dimensionals. I then added two of the Glossy Dots in Gorgeous Grape. I love how they look like bubbles!

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Memento and the image in Gorgeous Grape on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White cardstock and added 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ piece of the glimmer paper.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped the sentiment in Memento and image in Gorgeous Grape inks.

Isn’t that a fun card? I really love this bundle and can’t wait to scrapbook some photos from a Hocus Pocus party we had a couple of years ago. Now it’s your turn. Create your take and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. The best part of casing is you get to create the card your way with your style!
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope I was able to inspire you and that you’ll have a chance to play along with us this week. Have a great rest of your week and if you get a chance to get inky – even better!
