Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my little neck of the woods, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you seen what we are casing (copy and share everything) over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? As you can see, I changed mine up a little.

I did follow all of the measurements for my take, which makes it so easy to create. I started with a Thick Basic White card base that measures 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″, which still follows the measurements. I just received my July Paper Pumpkin kit last week and really wanted to play with it, so I incorporated it into my take. I trimmed a piece of the Full of Life DSP to the 3 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ measurements and then added it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal adhesive. I stamped my flower from the kit in Memento ink and colored it with Granny Apple Green, Berry Burst, Bubble Bath and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers, our version of alcohol markers. I die cut the image with the coordinating die from the Every Celebration Die Set that coordinates with the July, August and September Paper Pumpkin Kits. I love, love, love the die sets they have been creating!! The flower is added with dimensionals to the glimmer paper. I next trimmed a scrap of Basic White for my sentiment strip, stamped the sentiment in Memento and added it to the card with dimensionals. Next I added a bow in black twine and some of the Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems for bling. Can you tell I like bling??? 😉

For the inside, I added a 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ strip of DSP left from the piece I trimmed and then stamped my sentiment from the kit.

And I also added a strip to the envelope flap. Remember, no naked envelopes!!

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up like I did. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create your card with your style.
