Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! Can you believe it’s the 4th of July day after tomorrow?!? Wow!! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my little neck of the woods, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. So have you had a chance to visit the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet today to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that card adorable? I came close to using the Charming Duck Bundle, but since it’s almost the 4th and the Light the Sky set was sitting on my desk after last weekend’s Patriotic Scrapbook Class, I thought, let’s celebrate some more!! Can’t be too patriotic these days, right?

I followed the measurements for the base and red layer, but my sentiment layer is only 2″ wide. It just looked better to me. This stamp and die set was from the Sept-Dec Mini and is now a part of our Online Exclusives product. When I originally saw this set, I immediately thought of the 4th! My card base is in Blueberry Bushel cardstock. I stamped two of the fireworks in Versa Mark on the card base to give it a tone on tone look. Then I stamped 3 of the other images on the Real Red layer and heat embossed them with the new Wow Silver Polished Embossing Powders that is a part of the Metallic Embossing Powder pack. It melts so much faster than our old powders! I layered that on with Stampin’ Seal. I them stamped sentiment, masking the New Year on the stamp, in Blueberry Bushel ink. I die cut the 4 in Real Red cardstock with the Alphabet Ala Mode die and the TH in Blueberry Bushe cardstock with the Mini Alphabet Dies. They are attached with Multipurpose Glue and the layer is attached with dimensionals. And of course I had to add plenty of bling with our rhinestones!

For the inside, I embossed more fireworks in silver and stamped the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White cardstock. I added a 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ strip of Real Red for that pop of color.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped the largest firworks image in Blueberry Bushe ink on the front.

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample or sketch and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it exactly like the sample or sketch, or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create it your way.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. There won’t be a Facebook Live this week as we have a birthday to celebrate. I’m also going to take some time off this week. I hope you have a fabulous week and stay safe!
