Hello and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my little blog, welcome and please be sure to join my email list! Have you had a chance to visit the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that project cute? It’s actually a box, we are converting into a card and you can tell my take, I’ve changed it up a lot!

I followed the measurements for my card base and my black layer, but I added 4″ x 5 1/4″ layer of Pretty in Pink cardstock. I thought this week’s project would be a good one to showcase some of the new ephemera packs that we have in the 2024/2025 Annual Catalog. I couldn’t find tags that measured exaclty to the sketch, so I decided to start by choosing my shapes. I went with the butterfly from the Something for Everything Ephemera Pack and then chose my two labels from the Labels & Layers Ephemera Pack. I then chose Wild Wheat cardstock for my card base and Basic Black for the top layer, which is embossed with the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder. To bring in the pink from the butterfly, I chose to add the extra layer. I stamped the sentiment from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set on the label and attached everything with Stampin’ Seal and Dimensionals. I decided to add a black Baker’s Twine bow to the butterfly and then sprinkled on some of the Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems for my bling.

For the inside I stamped the floral image in Memento Ink, stamping off first, and then the sentiment on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. I added it to another Pretty in Pink layer.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped the floral image again on the front of a Very Vanilla envelope from my stash. Sadly, those retired at the end of the previous catalog – but I still have quite a few to use.

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample or sketch and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up like I did. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to make it your way with your style!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you. If you would like to see more inspiration with our new ephemera packs, join me at 1:00 for my Facebook Live when I use them to create a scrapbook layout. You can also catch the replay over on my YouTube Channel. Have a great week!
