Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday!! And the first for the month of May and the new 2024/2026 Annual Catalog! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my neck of the woods, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here! In case you haven’t been by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything), Here’s a look at this week’s card and sketch:

Isn’t that card adorable? Since we have some beautiful new In Colors to play with, I decided to choose some paper that includes them, and the Unbounded Beauty DSP is just that! (The DSP item number is 163372 and the bundle number is 163384. The site I use for store links didn’t have these updated at the time I created this post.)

I changed up my take just a tad, especially with my piece of DSP. I trimmed it to 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ which is a more traditional size, and then added it to a 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″ piece of Basic Black cardstock. I thought the black would really make the color pop, especially on the Petunia Pop card base. I attached these layers to the card base with Stampin’ Seal, and then added a 1″ x 3 1/2″ piece of the Petunia Pop Glimmer Specialty Paper. I then attached 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ strip of Pretty in Pink over the glimmer paper with Mini Glue Dots, which is the best adhesive to use on the glimmer paper. I die cut the label from the bundle in Basice White and stamped my sentiment in Petunia Pop ink and added to the Pretty in Pink layer with dimensionals. To bring in more of the black, I added a black twine bow and some of the Adhesive-Backed Sparkle gems in black.

For the inside, I trimmed scraps of Basic White and Basic Black to the same measurements as the DSP and black on the front. I stamped both sentiments in Petunia Pop and added a 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ strip of the DSP.

And to tie everything together, I added more of that pretty DSP to my envelope flap – no naked envelopes!

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the CT Facebook Group. You can create it exactly like the sample or change it up like I did. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to make it your way!!

Thank you so much for stopping by this morning. If you would like to see even more projects using the new In Colors and the bundle I used this morning, be sure to come back this afternoon. I will be holding my weekly Facebook Live over on my Scraps by Sissy Facebook Page at 1:00 PT. If you can’t make it to the live, you can always watch the replay on my Scraps by Sissy YouTube Channel. Thank you again for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous day!
