Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my little neck of the woods, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Can you believe that this is the last CASE-ing Tuesday for the month of April?!? Wow! Next week we get to start casing the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalog!! woo hoo!!!

So, have you had a chance to stop by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? And I love that we have sketches!! I followed the measurements from the sketch for my take, except for the 2 1/2″ circle layer.

I received my April Paper Pumpkin Kit, Delicate Wings,  last week and have been anxious to play with it, so I decided to use the stamp set for this week’s cased card. I started with a Very Vanilla card base and trimmed a scrap of Very Vanilla to the 3″ x 5″ layer. I added a piece of the Forever Love Specialty DSP at the bottom. It is cut on the diagonal like the sketch shows, but it’s hard to see under my sentiment strip. I then stamped the splatter image from the stamp set in Basic Gray, which is the ink spot color included in the kit. After I stamped it, I attached it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. My sentiment strip actually measures 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ and after I stamped my sentiment on it I added some Seal to the back and attached some of the gray twine from the Baking Twine Essentials Pack. I attached the strip to the card with dimensionals and then added a few of the butterfly die cuts from the kit with Mini Glue Dots. I chose the retiring Festive Pearls for my bling. I am really going to miss those as they are the perfect little pearl bling!

For the inside, I stamped one of the butterfly images in Moody Mauve ink, stamping off first and then stamped my sentiment in Basic Gray.

To decorate my envelope, I decided to stamp the other butterfly image in Moody Mauve. I love the detail in that image!

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s challenge and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up; it’s all up to you. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create it your way!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. If you would like to see more inspiration using the April Paper Pumpkin Kit, be sure to come back later this afternoon. I will be playing with the kit on my Facebook Live at 1:00 PT over on my Scraps by Sissy Facebook Page. I have the cutest scrapbook layout to share with you along with a fun fold card and a treat holder. I hope you have a great rest of your Tuesday!!
