Hey everyone! Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday project! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time stopping by my little neck of the woods, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here! Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yest this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Case-ing Tuesday Portrait Templates – 103

Isn’t that a cute card? I followed all of the measurements for my take this week.

Since I haven’t used this bundle yet, I thought it was time and perfect to go with the Lighter Than Air DSP pack. My card base is in Azure Afternoon cardstock. Since I wanted to mat my DSP and keep it to the measurements of the sketch, I cut my DSP to 3″ x 4 1/4″ and added it to a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ layer of Pool Party. My 3 1/4″ circle is in Lemon Lolly cardstock and die cut with one of the Deckled Circle dies. The cup for my ice cream is in Bubble Bath cardstock. I samped my ice cream in Early Espresso ink and colored with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends, our version of alcohol makers. I stamped the sprinkles in Early Espresso too to give my ice cream a chocolate look. Doesn’t it look yummy??? I added it to the cup with some Stampin’ Seal Adhesive and then added to the circle with dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped in Azure Afternoon ink and added to the card with a dimensional. To keep it flush with the ice cream I just added a little Seal on that end and one dimensional on the other. I added the bow in Lemon Lolly from the Baker’s Twine Three-Color Pack and the dots in Azure Afternoon from the Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots. I love the color coordination that Stampin’ Up! offers – makes creating so easy!!

For the inside, I stamped my sentiment in Azure Afternoon ink with the sentiment from the Phrases for All stamp set, that is sadly retiring. The Basic White layer is 3 3/4″ x 5″ and the strip of DSP is 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ and attached with Seal.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope!!

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s challenge and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing; you make it your way in your style!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you can come back later today for my Facebook Live on my Scraps by Sissy Facebook Page at 1:00 PT. I will be sharing more projects using this bundle and adorable paper. If you can’t make it, you can always watch the replay over on my YouTube Channel. If you aren’t a subscribe yet, I would be honored if you subscribed.

Have a great Tuesday!!
