Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday!! I hope your week is off to a good start! If this is your first time visiting my little neck of the woods, welcome and be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here! So, have you had a chance to visit the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet to see what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? I think one of the best things of casing is being able to use the same elements as the original card, but to change it up to make it your own! Which is exactly what I did this week.

I followed all of the measurements from the sketch, just put my “spin” on it! lol I used an Early Espresso card base and layered on a piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock and a piece of the A Little Latte DSP on top, all of which are attached with Stampin’ Seal adhesive. I stamped the cup image in Early Espresso ink, which is also the ink for the sentiment, and then colored the cup with the Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends, our version of alcohol markers. I die cut the cup and the little oval for the coffe in Early Espresso cardstock and then assembled them with some Multipurpose Glue. It’s added to the card with dimensionals as is the sentiment label. One of the things I love about Stampin’ Up! products is that embellishments from different suites coordinate together; like the twine and dots I used for my embellishments. The Three Color Baker’s Twine and Rainbow Adhesive-backed Dots are from the Lighter Than Air Suite. Don’t they go perfectly with the DSP?

The sentiments in this set are perfect to create cute coffee gift card holders, so that is what I made! My inside layers measure 4″ x 5 1/4″ for the Basic White layer and 4″ x 2″ for the DSP and I used the 1 3/4″ circle punch to create the thumb hole. I used Tear & Tape to secure the DSP to the Basic White layer as it is a little thinner than the Stampin’ Seal Adhesive.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope and what better way to decorate than adding more of that adorable DSP?

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the CT Facebook page. You can create it just like the sample or change it up! That’s the fun part of casing – you make it your way!

Thank you so much for stopping by this morning.
