I’m back!!! Did you miss me?!? lol It was a busy couple of weeks between holding my retreat and putting the studio back together again. So welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday project! I hope your week is going well. Have you had a chance to stop by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? As you can see, I changed my take just a little.

I started with my DSP from the Flowering Zinnias pack and chose a scrap of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock that I trimmed to 2 1/2″ x 3″ and stamped my sentiment at the bottom in Old Olive ink. I attached the piece to my 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of DSP and added a piece of the Natural Wavy Trim and attached it all to the Old Olive card base. Next I used the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch to punch another piece of the gorgeous DSP and added it with dimensionals. I pulled a couple of strands of the trim and tied a double bow and then added it to the punch with a Mini Glue Dot. For my bling, I sprinkled on some of the Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs. The discs are still available as part of the Online Exclusives product.

For the inside, I stamped my sentiment and leaves image in Old Olive ink. I colored the leaves with the Light Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends Marker, our version of alcohol markers. I attached it to the inside of the card with Seal.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I added some more of that pretty DSP to the flap to tie it all together. It’s such an easy way to decorate the envelope!

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample or sketch and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up a little or a lot. That’s the fun of casing – you get to create it your way with your style.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you can join me this afternoon at 1:00 pm PT over on my Scraps by Sissy Facebook Page for this week’s live. We’ll be playing with the February Paper Pumpkin. If you can’t join me, you can catch the replay over on my YouTube Channel. Whatever you do today, make it a great day!
