Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a good start after the holiday yesterday. If this is your first time visiting my little neck of the woods, welcome and be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you had a chance to visit the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? I thought this week’s card was perfect for the Rock & Roll DSP pack, so that’s what I went with for my take.

I followed all of the measurements in the sketch for my card. I started with a Basic Black card base and then chose my piece of DSP (Designer Series Paper aka pattern paper). I started by cutting a 3 1/2″ strip and trimmed it to 5″. I then cut it on the diagonal going the opposite way of the sketch (purely by accident). I then cut another piece at 3 1/2″ x 5″ of the same sheet and added the piece of diagonal with Stampin’ Seal. I then cut a  5/8″ strip of Real Red and added it to the layer, trimming off the edges and then added everything to the card base with Seal. I stamped two of the drum sticks in Memento ink on a scrap of Thick Basic White cardstock and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I colored them with one of the Light Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends Marker. I attached them together with a Mini Glue Dot and then added them to the card front with some Mini Black Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Memento on a scrap of Basic White, die cut it and added a Black Dimensional on both ends and attached it over the drum sticks. For the bling, I added two of the white stars from the Adhesive-Backed Lightning & Stars pack.

For the inside, I added the left over triangle piece to a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White cardstock, stamped the sentiment and added it to the inside of the card.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope!!

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create is just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create it your way!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. If you would like to see more of the Rock Star Bundle and the coordinating Rock Legend Kit, come back at 10:00 this morning when I share my Facebook Live projects. Have a great Tuesday!!
