Case-ing Tuesday Portrait Templates – 88

Isn’t that a cute card? I love those little kids in that bundle! I chose to play with the Trusty Tool Bundle and that fun DSP that coordinates with it, the Trusty Tool Box DSP, Did you know that you can get that paper for FREE? Keep reading and find out how!  😉

For my take this week, I followed all of the measurements from the sketch. I started with a Copper Clay card base. I chose the pegboard design for my base layer. I know that the sample and the sketch show it should be cut at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, but I just have a hard time cutting my DSP to the 4 1/4″ size on a brand new sheet of DSP. Silly, I know, but that’s me! lol Next I chose my tools from the DSP and die cut them with the coordinating dies. I love it when we have paper that coordinates with dies! I decided to use DSP for my squares and thought the grid pattern in Lost Lagoon worked perfectly. I added my squares with dimensionals. and then my tools, also added with dimensionals. I trimmed my sentiment strip in a scrap of Basic White, stamped the sentiment in Coppyer Clay and added it with Stampin’ Seal. For my bling, I added 2 of the 2023/2025 In Color Dots in Copper Clay.

For the inside, I added a 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ strip of the DSP to a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White and then stamped my sentiment just above it. The sentiment actually says “You’re the most Awesome”, so I masked “the most” with tape, inked my sentiment, removed the mask and stamped my sentiment.

And of course I had to use more of that fun DSP to the flap!

Isn’t that a fun card? Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample or sketch and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample, or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create it your way.

Now, how do you get that paper for FREE? It’s easy! Place a $50.00 order or more, like this bundle, and then choose the paper as your FREE Sale-a-bration item. Easy-peasy! Just head over to my online store here to shop.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Please be sure to come back at 1:00 to see even more projects using this paper and bundle. Have a great morning!
