Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday project! I hope your week is going well. I know it’s a busy one since it’s Thanksgiving Week here in the States, so if you are dropping by, thank you! And if this is your first time, please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you had a chance to visit the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a beautiful card? Since the Sending Cheer bundle was sitting on my desk, I decided to use it. I followed most of the measurements from the sketch, with the exception of my piece of DSP. I chose to trim that to 4″ x 5 1/4″ to have some of the Real Red card base show. The DSP is the Traditions of St. Nicholas and is part of the recent release of Online Exclusives. If you know me, you know that I decorate my kitchen in gingerbread men, and this sheet of paper just makes my heart happy!

To show more of the DSP, I went with a piece of vellum cardstock for my second layer and Basic White for the sentiment layer. I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink, attached the white to the vellum and added it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. On a scrap of white, I stamped the gingerbread girl in Pecan Pie ink and cut her out with the coordinating die. Her face is stamped in Early Espresso. After I die cut her, I snipped off the tag portion and added her with dimensionals. I then added a bow in the Sweet Sorbet/Basic White combo from the 2022/2024 In Color Twine pack and some of the Festive Pearls in red for bling.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the October Paper Pumpkin kit in Real Red, and added a 1/2″ x 5″ strip of DSP to my 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope!! I thought a gingerbread boy was the perfect addition!

Isn’t that a fun card?!? I had so much fun creating this card!! Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up a little or even a lot. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to put your spin and style on it. We would love to have you join us!

Thank you again for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous week. Happy Thanksgiving!
