Happy Tuesday everyone and welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday project! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my little world, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you had a chance to stop by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

I love that we have sketches! It really makes creating a card so quick and easy, especially if you’re new to the craft or are struggling with your mojo. As you can see, I really changed mine up this week.

I just received this stamp set and thought this was the time to open it up. I started with a Pretty Peacock card base that measured 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″ and turned it on its side. I took out a sheet from the All About Autumn DSP and trimmed it to fit on the card base and added it with Stampin’ Seal. I found a scrap of Very Vanilla that fit the measurements and to bring in the copper foiling on the DSP, I decided to heat emboss with Copper Embossing Powder. I brused the Embossing Buddy across the cardstock to eliminate static cling and then stamped the dots image from the set in Versa Mark. I thought that would really pop against the DSP. I added that layer with more Seal. Next I stamped the sentiment image in Pretty Peacock on another scrap of Very Vanilla, fussy cut it and added it to the card with dimensionals. I tied a bow in some Very Vanilla twine and attached it with a Mini Glue Dot. With the copper embossed dots, it didn’t need any other bling.

For the inside I stamped my sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set in Pretty Peacock on a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Very Vanilla. I added a 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ strip of the DSP and attached it all to the inside of the card with Seal.

And of course I had to add more of that gorgeous DSP to the envelope flap! Don’t you love how it just shines?

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create it your way with the supplies you have on hand!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you and that you’ll come over and play along with us. We can’t wait to see your creativity!! It’s so fun to share and to see everyone’s style of crafting! Have a great day and enjoy your week!
