Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday!! I hope your week is going well. It’s a busy one in the studio as this weekend is our Creative Escape Retreat!! The countdown is on and we are busy getting everything together to take to our venue, the Cottonwood Community Center. I am really looking forward to spoiling all of the attendees! I will share pictures next week. So if this is your first time visiting my little blog, please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you had a chance to stop by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s the sample and the sketch:

I was really excited to give this week’s challenge a shot and followed the measurements for everything except the sentiment label and the strip underneath since my sentiment was longer.

I started by choosing my DSP and just had to use a sheet from the Fresh as a Daisy pack and then the Cheerful Daisies Bundle. I went with a Tahitian Tide card base, which I thought really made the DSP pop. To layer with the right dimensions, I measured the 1 1/2″ in on the top left and lower right corners and made little tic marks with a pencil. Next, I added some Stampin’ Seal at the opposite corners of the card base and then a little bit in the middle of the DSP layer and added it to the card base. I then snipped off the excess with my Paper Snips. I chose a scrap of vellum for my next layer because I really didn’t want to cover up my DSP. Before I added it though, I stamped my daisy in Copper Clay with Crushed Curry center, my leaves in Pretty Peacock, one is stamped off, and then I die cut them. I die cut a scrap of Tahitian Tide for the branch and added the leaves and the branch to the back of the daisy with Stampin’ Seal. I added the daisy to my vellum with dimensionals. Next I stamped my sentiment in Tahitian Tide ink on a strip of Basic White that measures 2 1/2″ x 1/2″ and added a 2 3/4″ x 1/4″ strip of Copper Clay with a little Seal and then added the strips with a couple of dimensionals to the vellum, tucking them just under the daisy. Since I had my daisies and sentiment strip on the vellum, I was able to add some Seal under those and add it to my card front. I added a bow in the Tahitian Tide Metallic Ribbon and then added some of the 2022/2024 Pearls in Tahitian Tide for the perfect bling. I just LOVE those pearls!!!

For the inside, I found a scrap of Basic White that measures 3 3/4″ x 5″ to use. I stamped the large daisy in Copper Clay ink, stamping off first, and the center in Crushed Curry, stamping off first and then the sentiment in Tahitian Tide ink.

And how could I not add more of that beautiful DSP to the envelope flap? Remember, no naked envelopes!! The DSP just ties the whole project together!

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up a little or a lot. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to put your style into your creation!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great rest of your week!
