Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time stopping by my little blog, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all my scrappy news! So have you had a chance to check out what we’re casing (copy and share everything) this week over at the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

I love that we have sketches that contain all of the measurements too. It really helps when you’re casing, especially when your mojo isn’t up to par.

For my take this week, I followed all of the measurements for my card, except for the sentiment label, which as you can see, I eliminated. I chose to dust of the Bottled Happiness stamp set with the coordinating punch. After I chose which cardstock and DSP I was going to use, I decided to pick the accent colors of Pretty Peacock and Pool Party. I started by stamping the bottle in Pretty Peacock, stamping off to give it a more “clear” look to the image. I decided to use the Bough Punch (which has to be one of my favorites!!) and punched out the leaves in Pretty Peacock and the flower buds in Pool Party. I attached them together with Mini Glue Dots and ran a little bit of Stampin’ Seal at the neck of the bottle and attached the flowers. I then punched a scrap of white with the 2 3/8″ circle punch and stamped my sentiment in Pecan Pie ink. Next I added my Pecan Pie layer to the card base with dimensionals. I added a piece of the Pool Party ribbon to the DSP and then added it with more dimensionals. Since I was going to have the right side off the Pecan Pie layer, which had dimensionals, I had to double the dimensionals on the right side so that it was level with the left side. I added my circle and the bottle with dimensionals to the card front. I had a bow in the same Pool Party ribbon in my box of leftovers, so I added it next to the circle with Mini Glue Dots. And finally, I added some of the sequins in Pretty Peacock for my bling.

For the inside, I stamped the flower image in Pretty Peacock, stamping off first, and the sentiment in Pecan Pie, both at the bottom of the 3 3/4″ x 5″ layer. I added a 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ piece of the DSP and then attached it all to the inside.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I added the last of that sheet of DSP to the flap.

I just my card this week! I really like the colors I chose, what do you think? Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up; it’s all up to you. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create it with your own style.

Thank you so much for stopping by. If you are looking for a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I would love to help you out. Just reach out if you have any questions. Have a great Tuesday!
