Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time stopping by my little blog, welcome and please be sure to join my email list here to keep up on all the inky news around here. So have you had a chance to stop by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, you can see the sample and the sketch here:
Isn’t that a nice card? I think that could make a really nice masculine card. I chose to change mine up today with the Cheerful Daisies Bundle.
I followed the measurements from the sketch, but my label, which is from the die set is a little bigger. I used Moody Mauve for my card base and die cut layer using the Radiating Stitches dies. I attached the layer to the card base with Stampin’ Seal. Next I cut my white layer and piece of Fresh as a Daisy DSP to the measurements in the sketch, but thought my DSP layer needed something. So, I added it to a piece of the new Bubble Bath (love this pink!) cardstock that measures 2 1/2″ x 3 3/8″ and attached them all with Stampin’ Seal. I then trimmed another piece of the Bubble Bath to 1 7/8″ x 2″ and another piece of the same DSP to the same measurements and cut them in half. I attached them to the back of my white layer with Seal and then to the card front. That was when I realized I was a little off on my measurements. Oops! lol But I decided to leave it as is since it looked okay. Next I die cut the label and stamped the sentiment in Moody Mauve and added it to the card front with dimensionals. I had a white twine bow on the desk, so I added it with a Mini Glue Dot. I sprinkled on some of the new In Color Dots in the Wild Wheat to give it some bling.
For the inside I stamped the smaller daisy in Bubble Bath ink and added another dot since they are flat. I stamped the sentiment in Moody Mauve ink. My Basic White layer measures 3 3/4″ x 5″.
And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped the daisy on the flap in Bubble Bath and the center in Moody Mauve.
Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over on the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up a little or a lot. It’s all up to you! That’s the fun part of casing – you get to make it your way!
I hope I was able to inspire you today. If there’s anything you’d like to add to collection, feel free to shop my online store. When you order $45.00 or more and use Host Code CA4K3EYE, I will include a new embellishment in your thank you card! Have a great rest of your week!
