Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday! Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday project. I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time stopping by my neck of the woods, I am so happy you are visiting me and I would love it if you joined my email list here to keep up on all the scrappy news in my little world. Have you had a chance to stop by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet today to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:
Isn’t that an adorable card?? I just love that fox! But since the Greatest Journey was sitting on my desk, that’s what I chose for my take today.
This week I created my card using all of the measurements from this week’s sketch, no changes at all. I started with a Pool Party card base and added a piece of the Enjoy the Journey DSP that I trimmed at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, and attached it with Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the trees image in Garden Green ink across the mountains in the DSP. Next, I found a scrap of Basic White in my stash that I trimmed to the measurements and stamped the wild flowers image in also Garden Green. I pulled out my Parakeet Party, Orchid Oasis, Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends and colored the flowers. Next I wrapped a piece of the coordinating twine in Garden Green around the layer and tied it in a bow. I added the layer to the card front with more Seal. Next, I stamped the sun in Daffodil Delight ink on a scrap of white and punched it out with a retired 3/4″ circle punch. I added it to the layer with a dimensional. I then trimmed a scrap of Pool Party to the sentiment layer measurements and stamped my sentiment from the stamp set in Garden Green ink. I added it to the card with dimensionals and sprinkled on some of the Opaque Gems for bling.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment and the dandelions image in Garden Green, stamping off first for the dandelions image.
I repeated the dandelions image on the envelope flap.
Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the CT Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up a little or a lot. That’s the fun part of casing – it’s all up to you!
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope I was able to inspire you. Have a great rest of your day and be sure to take some time for yourself!
