Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! And what a week to stop by!! This week marks our 400th casing!!! WOW!! Who would have thought that possible?!? If this is your first time stopping by my neck of the woods, be sure to join my email list here to keep up on all the scrappy news in my world. Have been by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at this week’s sample and sketch:

Isn’t that an adorable card? I decided to use the new Online Exclusive Bundle, Irresistible Blooms Bundle for my take.

As you can see, I changed it up just a little bit. I started with a Thick Basic White card base and rather then have my DSP cover the entire front, I wanted just a touch of the white to show. I trimmed my piece of that beautiful Hello, Irresistible DSP to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. Now if those colors look familiar, they are two returning colors coming in the new 2023/2024 Annual Catalog that will launch in May! The paper has them both swirled into the pattern…and those colors are Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon! Since Pretty Peacock was one of my all time favorites, I kept my ink pad and one package of the cardstock.  🙂  As you can see, my second piece of DSP is matted with a piece of that Pretty Peacock. For my 1/2″ x 3″ piece of colored cardstock, I used some of the gorgeous Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon. I just added a strip to the layer and attached each side to the back of the Pretty Peacock layer and then added dimensionals to it to attach it to the card front. Next, I had a leftover tag die cut from the Tailor Made Tags die set that I stamped the sentiment at the right and then added it to the card front with more dimensionals. Next I stamped the small flower from the stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink and watercolored it with some Wink of Stella. I die cut that with 3 of the leaves from a scrap of Basic White. I also die cut tow of the little leaves in scrap of Pool Party cardstock. I added some adhesive to the back of the flower and layered on all of the leaves. I then attached it to the tag with some Stampin’ Seal. I then tied a bow in the same ribbon and added it to the base of the flower and sprinkled on some of the Glossy Dots in Pool Party.

For the inside, I stamped the trio of leaves down in the corner in Pretty Peacock and added the splatter image in stamped off Pool Party ink. I then stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I used a piece of that beautiful DSP to decorate the flap!

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample, or change it up a little or a lot. Then share your creation within the comments of this week’s challenge. The best part is one lucky winner that posts their creation this week will be randomly chosen to receive all of the bloggers’ samples! That means you could win this card!! So head over and check it out all of the fun!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!
