Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time here, please be sure to join my email list here. Have you had a chance to visit the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? I decided to play with the Fiesta Taco stamp set this week.

I followed the sketch for all of my measurements, except my DSP. I wanted a little bit of my card base, which is in Starry Sky cardstock, to show through. I cut it at 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″. I used a piece of the Flowers & More DSP pack that is a Host Set of paper that you can get for free with a qualifying order. I used a scrap of Parakeet Party that I trimmed to the measurements in the sketch. I added a piece of the Starry Sky Metallic Ribbon that I wrapped around and attached it tot he card base with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. Next I die cut my square with one of the Stylish Shapes dies. I stamped the pinata in Memento ink and colored it with the Flirty Flamingo, Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet, Daffodil Delight and Starry Sky Stampin’ Blends. I then added the square with dimensionals. I tied a bow in the ribbon and added it next to the square with a Mini Glue Dots. I stamped my sentiment in Starry Sky ink on a strip of Daffodil Delight. I masked each section before stamping and then trimmed the strip with my snips. It’s added with dimensionals too. Next I added two rhinestones for bling.

For the inside, I stamped my sentiment in Starry Sky and the sombrero in Memento ink. I colored the sombrero with the Daffodil Delight and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends. That layer measures 3 3/4″ x 5″.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I added some of that beautiful paper.

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample or sketch and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it exactly like the sample or change it up, a little or a lot; it’s all up to you. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create your way. And the sketch is always helpful with all of the measurements.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope I was able to inspire you today and that you take some time to come and play along. Have a fantastic week and make sure you get inky this week!!
