Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope you had a fabulous Christmas weekend. We had a wonderful day with lots of family, food and fun. So have you had a chance to stop by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet to see what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a pretty card? Since next week the new Jan-April Mini and Sale-a-bration Catalogs go live, I thought it was time for a sneak peek of some new product! Not to mention, time for something other than a Christmas card.  😉

I decided to use the new Friendly Gnomes stamp set and the Dainty Flowers DSP. I chose the paper first and then went with the stamp set for the sentiments and I did follow all of the measurements for my card. I went with a Blushing Bride card base and then die cut the DSP with one of the Deckled Rectangle dies. I added that to a scrap of Starry Sky cardstock that I trimmed to the measurements and then added some Linin Thread. I wrapped it twice around the DSP and tied it in a bow. Before I added that to the card front, I flicked on some Wink of Stella to give it some shimmer. I added the DSP/cardstock layer with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. I then stamped my sentiment in Starry Sky ink on a scrap of So Saffron and punched it out with the Label Me Fancy punch, just like the sample. I added it with Mini Dimensionals over the Linen Thread and then sprinkled on some of the new Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Starry Sky ink and added a 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ strip of that DSP. The Basic White layer measures 3 3/4″ x 5″.

And don’t forget to decorate you envelope! I stamped the little bird from the stamp set on the flap.  I know, I didn’t use the gnomes, but that’s for another day.

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it over at the CT Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up. That’s the fun part of casing – you can create it just the way you want.

Have you received a new copy of the Jan-April Mini Catalog yet? If not, just reach out! Have a great week and thank you for stopping by!
