Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope you week is going well! If this is your first time here welcome! Have you had a chance to stop by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at this week’s sample and sketch:
Isn’t that a cute card? Since I am still in the midst of Christmas in the studio, I went with the Christmas to Remember stamp set.
I followed all the measurements from the sketch, except for the sentiment label. I couldn’t get the words to fit on the two labels, so I changed it up. It measures 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ which seemed to fit quite nicely. When I chose my DSP from the Santa Express pack, I actually had the other side of this in mind and then realized I hadn’t trimmed it correctly to fit the measurements, so, I turned it over! I think it actually looks better with the White Glimmer layer under it and goes better with my Shaded Spruce card base. I added the glimmer paper with Stampin’ Seal and then the DSP with dimensionals that fit on either side of the glimmer paper perfectly. Next I added one of the Wonderful Snowflakes with a dimensional. My sentiment is stamped in Shaded Spruce ink and added it with more dimensionals. Then I added plenty of Festive Pearls for bling!
I like the pop of red emulating holly berries for a pop of color. For the inside, I had a piece of 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White that I stamped the sentiment on and added a strip of 1/2″ 3 3/4″ piece of the DSP to and attached with more Seal.
And how can you not add that gorgeous DSP to your envelope flap??
Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the CT Facebook Group. You can create it just like the sample or change it up a little or a lot. That’s the fun part of casing – it’s all up to you!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you. Have a great week!
