Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time here, welcome and be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you had a chance to visit the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

With each new catalog, the bloggers of the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group get to choose sample from that catalog for everyone to case. This sample out of the July-December Mini Catalog was the one that I chose. Isn’t it a pretty card? Since fall is right around the corner, I wanted to create something with a taste of fall.

I followed all of the measurements from our sketch to create today’s case. I used a piece of that gorgeous Rustic Harvest DSP for my first layer. I used the Layering Circles to die cut my 3″ circle out of Mossy Meadow cardstock. Both the DSP and the circle are attached to the Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive. I then die cut the pumpkin in scraps of Cajun Craze, Early Espresso and more Mossy Meadow cardstocks. The flagged banner is in a piece of the new Glimmer Paper which is in Very Vanilla. I added dimensionals at both ends to attach it to the card front. I then assembled the pumpkin with both Multipurpose Glue and dimensionals. It is added to the card front with more dimensionals. Next I trimmed a scrap of Basic White to the measurements and stamped my sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink. That banner and the Glimmer Paper banner are both flagged with the Banners Pick-a-Punch. I then added a bow of Linen Thread to the stem with a Mini Glue dot. My rhinestones are colored with the Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends Marker, our version of Alcohol Markers. I love that I can color rhinestones to coordinate with any color of my project!

For the inside, I stamped both the sentiment and the leaf in Mossy Meadow ink, stamping off the leaf first.

And how could you pass up decorating your envelope flap with more of that gorgeous paper?

No it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample. You can create it just like the sample or change it up a little or a lot; it’s all up to you. That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create it with your spin. I hope I was able to inspire you today. If there are any items I showed you today that you would like to add to your collection, I would love it if you shopped with me today. You can head over to my online store here. Have a great Tuesday and don’t forget to take some time out of your busy day just for you!
