Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time here, welcome and be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you had a chance to stop by the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? Especially they way the designer wrapped the card base with ribbon! As you can see, I changed mine up a little.

I followed the measurements in the sketch for the layers, but I added a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of the Gingham Cottage DSP. This layer was originally just black and white, so I colored the white areas with my Light Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends, our version of alcohol markers. I added that to my Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Seal adhesive. I then cut my layers using my Deckled Rectangle dies. This is a great way to use up scraps – which is what I did with Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody, Basic Black and Daffodil Delight cardstock scraps. I stamped my sentiment on the bottom of the Daffodil Delight layer and then added them all to the card front with Seal. I then stamped the witch’s boots from the Bewitching stamp set in Memento ink. I colored the stockings with the Gorgeous Grape and Mango Melody Stampin’ Write Markers and the last stripe with the Parakeet Party Blends Marker. The buckles are colored with the Dark Daffodil Delight Blends Marker. I then added that with more Seal. Next I stamped and colored the witch’s hat and punched it out with the coordinating punch. I added it to the card front with dimensionals. The little star on the band is punched in Basic Black and added with a drop of Multipurpose Glue. And don’t forget the bling!

For the inside, I stamped the frog and the sentiment from the Best Witches set in Memento ink and then colored the frog with the Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends. That color is the perfect Halloween green! The spider is from the Bewitching Bundle. Isn’t it cute?

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope!

I had so much fun creating this card! When I colored the hat and the boots on the envelope, I used the Highland Heather Blends Marker rather than the Gorgeous Grape Stampin’ Write Marker. It shows up a lot better, don’t you think?

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the Facebook Group. You can create it exactly like the sample or change it up. That’s what is so fun with casing; you get to put your spin on the card. Then, once you’ve created it, share it in the comments of today’s challenge. We would love to see your inspiration!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a chance to get inky – it really is the best therapy! Have a great Tuesday!
