Happy Tuesday, Happy March 1st and Happy CASE-ing Tuesday!!! That’s a lot of happy!! lol I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time visiting my neck of the woods, welcome! And be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here! Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:
Isn’t that a cute card? As you can see by my take this week, I changed it up a lot! 🙂
I haven’t used this bundle yet and with baseball season almost upon us (if they ever past this whole lockout issue!!) I decided it was definitely time to play with it! I decided to go with the Poppy Parade card base. I then chose a piece of the Hey Sports Fan DSP, I trimmed it down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ so that you can still see the Poppy Parade behind it. For my panels, I used the coordinating dies to cut the sheet of DSP that had these tickets. I love it when Stampin’ Up! has dies that fit the shapes on the pattern paper! The large “ticket” and the “admit one” are actually cut with one die that has perforations, so I tore off the bottom portion to create my third label. I die cut the 2″ circle for the my sentiment, stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink and then added it all to the card front with dimensionals. I really changed up the positioning of everything, but I really like how it turned out. I then took a piece of two of the 3 colors of twine from the suite and tied them in a bow. I added it just below the circle with a Mini Glue Dot. To finish it off, I added two of the resin stars from the suite.
For the inside, I had a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock that measures 3 3/4″ x 5″ and stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink and the stars in Poppy Parade ink.
And don’t forget to decorate the envelope – no naked envelopes!!! lol I added some more of that adorable DSP.
Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the FB Group. You can create it exactly like the sample or change it up a little or a lot (like I did). We would love to have you share your creations!
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great rest of your week!
