Welcome to anther CASE-ing Tuesday! If this is your first time here, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

With each new catalog, all of the bloggers for CASE-ing Tuesday get to choose a sample for everyone to case, and this is the one I chose! So, I think this sample is pretty cute! lol As you can see, I changed mine up a little, okay, quite a bit.  😉

I realized as I was beginning my blog post that not only did I change the orientation from a landscape to a portrait, but that my top layer and sentiment label were both larger than the sample. I had meant to trim the wood grain piece, but completely forgot! oops! Those measurements are 3″ x 4 1/2″ and 7/8″ x 2″. I started by choosing my stamp set and then my piece of DSP from the Heart & Home pack. This is a beautiful pack of paper with colorful florals on one side and the other side has a wood grain print in gray on white, with several different patterns. I stamped the floral image in Memento ink and colored it with Just Jade, Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather and Cider Cinnamon Stampin’ Blends, Stampin’ Up!’s version of alcohol markers. I then added some Wink of Stella on the each of the flowers to give them a shimmer look. I then chose a Garden Green card base from my stash and added the 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of DSP on the front with Stampin’ Seal adhesive. I trimmed a scrap of Fresh Freesia to the measurements in the sketch and added it to the back of the colored layer with more Stampin’ Seal. Both of these layers are attached to the card front with dimensionals. I found a scrap of Pale Papaya and stamped the sentiment in Garden Green ink and added on top of the other two layers with more dimensionals. I had a bow of the Fresh Freesia ribbon left over from another project, so I added it to the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot. I added some of the In Color Jewels for my bling in the Pale Papaya color.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Garden Green ink and the same floral image in Memento, stamping off first. I colored it too with the same Blends.

And I added some more of that beautiful DSP to the envelope flap to tie it all together.

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the FB Group. You can create it exactly like the sample or change it up a little or a lot; it’s all up to you! That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create with your style!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great rest of your day!!
