Hey everyone! Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I h ope your week is going well. If this is your first time here, welcome and be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yest this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? It’s showcasing the Be Dazzling Specialty DSP. Well, while I was trying to create mine this past weekend, I had a tad of trouble….I’ll show you the final results first (which is actually my third try at this card) and then show you the two other cards I created while stamping….Here’s my official take:

I followed all of the measurements for my take using Gorgeous Grape cardstock for my card base. I used a piece of Fresh Freesia 2021/2023 In Color DSP for the first layer and attached it with Stampin’ Seal right to the card base. Next I stamped all of my individual snowflakes in Fresh Freesia ink, stamping off first. Then I stamped the little splatter of snowflakes in Fresh Freesia, first generation ink to make them stand out more. I cut 5 of the different sized snowflakes from the So Many Snowflakes die set in some of the Be Dazzling Specialty DSP, which you can get for FREE! btw, and attached the larger ones on the back of my stamped layer with Mini Glue Dots. Next I added a piece of the Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon and added it to the card front with dimensionals. I trimmed my sentiment label to the measurements and stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink and added it to the card front over the ribbon with dimensionals. I added a the faux bow by tucking in another piece of ribbon underneath and tying it in a knot. This works really well when you want to place that right up against your sentiment label. I added the two smaller snowflake with Mini Glue Dots that I rolled to give it some height.

For the inside of my card, I stamped another multi-snowflake image across the top of the 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ piece of Basic White in Fresh Freesia ink and the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink.

As you can see, I was having a rough go of stamping last weekend. 🙂 Here’s a look at the envelope using some more of that cute In Color DSP.

So here’s the first card I created, let’s call it the simple card. When I finished, I thought….something’s not right here….lol

So, I gave it another shot. Here’s card number two. We’ll call it the stepped up version.

Better, but still missing something. LOL But at least I have two extra cards for my stash to send out this Christmas!! I stamped the insides with the same stamps I used on the inside of my official card, just changed it up a little. So what do you think? Let me know which one you like best!

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the FB Group. You can create it exactly like the sample or change it up a little or a lot. It’s all up to you! And if you aren’t a member of the group yet, no problem; just request to join. We would love to have you come over and play along with us!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great week!!
