Hey everyone! Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time here, welcome and please be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? As you can see, I changed mine up a little.  🙂

I wanted to go with a brighter pallet this week and since I haven’t used the Nothing’s Stamp set and coordinating dies, I thought this was the perfect sketch to use. I followed the measurements from the sketch, which makes things super easy when you’re in a hurry or just don’t want to have to stop and figure out measurements. Since Stampin’ Up! has a Designer Series Paper Sale going on right now, I decided to use some of the gorgeous Pansy Petals DSP. I started by stamping my cocktail image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored it using my Stampin’ Blends, Stampin’ Up!’s alcohol markers. I just love coloring with them!!! I chose Polished Pink for my cocktail, Pale Papaya for the umbrella and Daffodil Delight for the lemon. I also used a little of the Pool Party underneath the glass so it didn’t look like it was hanging in mid-air, but after I cut it wou with the coordinating die, you really can’t see much of it. To give the glass a frosty look, I added some Wink of Stella. I then trimmed all my strips to the measurements inthe sketch and added them to a Pale Papaya card front. Since I chose the “adulting” sentiment stamp, I thought it would be better to just layer the strips every which way. I thought it fit perfectly, not to mention, I didn’t have to worry about making sure everything was straight! lol Next I stamped the sentiment in Polished Pink ink and punched it out with the Tailored Tag punch. I added some Stampin’ Seal adhesive so that I could add a little piece of the Pale Papaya ribbon, and then attached it to the card front with dimensionals. The cocktail is also added with dimensionals. Next I sprinkled on some of the new In Color Jewels for my bling. I love how it all coordinates together!

For the inside, I had a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White in my stash, so I stamped the sentiment down on the bottom corner so that there was plenty of room to write on the inside of the card. To bring the outside of the card to the inside, I added a 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ strip of the DSP.

And don’t forget to decorate that envelope! I added some adhesive to the flap and added some more of that paper. This is by far my favorite way to decorate my envelopes!

Dosen’t that just bring the whole project together? Now it’s your turn.Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the FB Group. You can create it exactly like the sample or change it up a little or a lot; it’s all up to you! That’s the fun part of casing – there are no rules!! And, if you’re not a member of the group yet, no worries; just request to join. We would love to have you come and play along with us!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a terrific Tuesday!
