Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! If this is your first time here, welcome and be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news in my neck of the world. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything) this week? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

At the beginning of each catalog season, all of the bloggers for the Facebook Group get to choose a card in that catalog to case, and this is what I chose for the new Annual Catalog. I just love the simplicity of the sketch! And with the measurements listed in the sketches, it makes it even easier to create! I followed the measurments exactly for my card this week too.

Have you had a chance to see the gorgeous papers in the Beauty of the Earth pack? Oh goodness! Every single sheet in the pack is gorgeous!!! And that is exactly what I chose to use for my take on this week’s sample. I trimmed my layers to the measurements on the sketch and then die cut my tree in Soft Suede cardstock and my label in Basic White cardstock with one of the Scalloped Contours die. I attached my DSP layer on a Merry Merlot card base and stamped my sentiment in Merry Merlot ink. I added some adhesive to the back and then wrapped a piece of the Linen Thread around it and added it right to the DSP. I added my tree with some dimensionals and then decided to add the two birds that were die cut, also in Merry Merlot. I added a bow in the Linen Thread with a Mini Glue Dot and then added some of the Holiday Rhinestones for my bling.

Then for the inside, I had a 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Basic White that I added a 1/2″ strip of the DSP to and stamped the sentiment, also in Merry Merlot ink.

And I also decorated the envelope with a strip of the DSP – no naked envelopes!!! lol

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over on the Facebook Group. You can create it exactly like the sample or change it up a little or a lot – it’s all up to you! That’s the fun part of casing – you get to create it your way!! And if you aren’t a member of the group yet, not a problem! Just request to join; we would love to have you come over and play along.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great afternoon!
