Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a good start. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Don’t you just love those chicks and the newly released dies? Since we just used this last weekend for our Stamp Club, the bundle was still on my desk so I just had to use it again!!

As you can see, I didn’t deviate from the original sample much and used all of the same measurements. And bonus! I used all scraps again for today’s card! woo hoo!!! Even my Balmy Blue card base was a leftover from a prior class. I knew I wanted to use the Rainbow Glimmer Paper, so the hardest part of the card was deciding on what color card base to use. lol Once I decided on the card base, I glued my strips of the glimmer paper on the card front. I trimmed my piece of Basic White to the size in the sketch and stamped the chicken in Tuxedo Black ink. I colored it with the Gray Granite Blends and added Magenta Madness for the comb and Mango Melody for the beak and feet. Next I stamped the sentiment at the bottom in Magenta Madness ink and added it to the card front. Next I cut 5 of the balloons in the glimmer paper and added them to the card with dimensionals. I used my Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker to add the extra strings. I then tied a bow with a piece of the Snail Mail Twine and added it to the balloon with a Mini Glue Dot.

For the inside I used a piece of 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the sentiments in Magenta Madness ink and the baby chick in Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the beak with the Mango Melody Blends Marker and the hat with the Magenta Madness marker. I then added a 1/2″ x 5″ strip of the glimmer paper and then attached it all to the inside of the card.

And don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I used the confetti image and stamped it in Magenta Madness all over the flap of the envelope.

Now it’s your turn! Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the FB Group. You can create it exactly as the sample or change it up. The fun part of casing is there are no rules – you get to create it with your spin on it! If you’re not a member of the group yet, not to worry! Just request to join, we would love to have you play along with us!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have an incredible week!
