Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! If this is your first time here, welcome and be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group yet this morning to see what we’re casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here’s a look at the sample and the sketch:

Isn’t that a cute card? I followed the sketch for all the measurments for my card, just changed out the stamp set and since I haven’t used the Ornamental Envelopes stamp set, I thought this was the perfect time.

I started by choosing my Designer Series Paper from the ‘Tis the Season pack and then chose a Shaded Spruce card base for it. Next I took a scrap of Just Jade cardstock and trimmed it to the measurements. I took the ornament image and stamped it in Versa Mark ink and heat embossed some Gold Embossing Powder on it. I then added it to the card front with dimensionals. Next I took out a 1/2″ strip of Very Vanilla from my scraps and trimmed it down to 4 1/4″ and stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink. I attached it to the card front with just two dimensionals, one on each side to that it was just covering the Just Jade layer. To add some extra bling, I added some of the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.

For the inside, I took another scrap of Very Vanilla and trimmed it to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and stamped the small ornament image twice in Versa Mark ink and heat embossed it with more Gold Embossing Powder to coordinate with the front of the card. Since the glitter enamel dots are pretty flat, I added them to the ornaments like the ones on the front. I stamped the sentiment, also from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set in Shaded Spruce and then glued it to the inside of the card.

For the envelope I decorated the flap by adding some of the DSP with some of the Stampin’ Seal adhesive.

The fun part of this bundle is the envelope insert dies. There are three different sized dies, so I chose the middle for the inside of my envelope. Now my envelope is really decorated!!!  🙂

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the FB Group. You can create it exactly as is or change it up a little or a lot; it’s all up to you! That’s the fun part of casing, there are no rules! If you aren’t a member of our group yet, no problem – just request to join! We would love to have you come over and play along!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have a great rest of your week!
