Welcome to another CASE-ing Tuesday! I hope your week is going well. If this is your first time in my neck of the woods, welcome and be sure to join my email list to keep up on all the scrappy news around here. Have you been over to the CASE-ing Tuesday Facebook Group this morning to see what we are casing (copy and share everything)? If not, here is a look at the sample and the sketch:

I just love that we have sketches! It just makes casing so much easier. I changed up my measurements a tad on my card, but followed the sketch more than the sample.

I even used all scraps for today’s card, which is always a plus! I started by choosing my Designer Series Paper from the ‘Tis the Season pack, which measures at 4″ x 5 1/4″ and glued it to a Shaded Spruce card base. Then I found a scrap of Vellum cardstock and cut it to the 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ and added some Stampin’ Seal adhesive to the middle and attached it to the card front. Next I took a scrap of Shimmery White cardstock and die cut a label with a Tasteful Touches die. I grabbed one of my new Water Painters and washed on some Cherry Cobble ink. I have to say there are times I don’t get the look I wanted, so it did take me a few tries for this, especially when I tried to add some gold splatter with both my Wink of Stella and our Chapmagne Shimmer Paint. I finally gave up and just washed some color and called it good. (it was just one of those days!! lol) Once the label dried, I stamped my sentiment in Shaded Spruce ink. I wanted to use the Gold Metallic Edged Ribbon, so to coordinate my ribbon, I colored it with my Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends, our alcohol markers. These markers are fabulous for making all of your embellishments coordinate! I then added some adhesive to the back of my label and attached the ribbon to the back and then attached it all to the card front with dimensionals. Since I wasn’t successful with my gold splatter, I added some of our Gold Enamel Dots.

For the inside, I found a scrap of Whiser White cardstock cut at 3 3/4″ x 5″ and stamped the sentiment in Shaded Spruce ink. Since the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots are flat, I then added a couple of the for the inside too.

And don’t forget your envelope! No naked envelopes in the mail!! lol I love coordinating the envelopes with the cards and sometimes just a sentiment ties it all together.

Now it’s your turn. Create your take on this week’s sample and share it with us over at the FB Group. You can create it exactly like the sample or change it up a little or a lot, it’s all up to you! That’s the fun part of casing, there are no rules! And if you aren’t a member of the group yet, not a problem! Just request to join – we would love to have you come and play along with us.

Thank you so much for stopping by and don’t forget that the Year End Clearance and Clearance Rack Refresh is going on right now! You can check it all out here. I hope you have a great Tuesday!
